Open Network Linux
Initially proposed at Open Compute Project Engineering Workshop in San Antonio by Big Switch Networks in 2013, Open Network Linux (ONL) is is a Linux distribution for "bare metal" switches.
Adopted by the Open Compute Project in 2014, ONL is the reference Network Operating System for the Open Compute Project.
Hardware Support
ONL currently supports 110+ Networking Switches of which 33 are either OCP Accepted or Inspired.
