WELCOME
- Welcome to the OCP Rack and Power Project.
- This project if focused on optimizing all of the infrastructure that IT gear uses for very large scale deployments.
- This includes items like:
- Physical support structures
- -Racks
- -Shelves and adapters
- -Cable management and gear interconnects
- Stable Power delivery at the Rack level
- -power distribution system
- -battery back-up
- -power conversion
- Physical support structures
- This project is focused on solving problems for large scale deployment like:
- -fast deployment of resources to the data center
- -efficient upgrade cycles
- -simple physical and thermal interfaces for the data center
- -quickly identifying and servicing of failed components
- -extracting value from components with different lifetimes
