Description:
The Open Compute Project (OCP) in conjunction with Flex presents a workshop on our Networking Project. This event will feature overviews and hands-on activities with the networking software subprojects. This will include: Open Network Install Environment (ONIE), Open Networking Linux (ONL), Switch Abstraction Interface (SAI), Software Networking in the Cloud (SONiC), and Campus Branch Wireless (CBW). If you’ve been looking for a way to get started with these projects and their code, this workshop will be a great way for you to get hands-on learning as well as to connect with leaders and other members interested in these projects. We especially encourage operators to attend who have been interested in exploring the use of open source networking software and disaggregated networking in their own deployments.
Our gracious host Flex will give us a personalized tour of their facility, and you will hear more about their products and their work with OCP. The overwhelming demand from our community has encouraged us to expand the time to accommodate all the agenda items.
