This is the first episode in a series of interviews entitled “Running on OCP”. The goal of this series is to share how organizations are using OCP in a variety of use cases. We will be interviewing end users deploying OCP, software companies who have built solutions on OCP as well as other technical communities and public sector entities who are aligning with OCP tenets.
This week I had the opportunity to speak with Run Almog, Head of Product Strategy at DriveNets. DriveNets is a software-based networking solution running on standard OCP Accepted™ and OCP Inspired™ network switches that can be clustered as a distributed chassis and scaled to hundreds of Tbps.
As more enterprises look to leverage the best practices gleaned from hyperscalers, DriveNets's solution simplifies the network’s operating model to enable rapid growth and profitability.
Run has a great perspective due to his vast experience in networking. It was an insightful discussion on the market dynamics behind the next generation of open networking.
